Sewer and Drain Services

Drain Cleaning and Clog Removal

Drain cleaning and clog troubleshooting for slow drains, recurring backups, sewer smells, and fixtures that will not clear with normal use.

Start with the symptom

A single slow sink is different from several fixtures backing up at once. The right next step depends on where the clog appears and how often it returns.

Questions

Before you schedule

What can I do to prevent drains from being clogged?

Always keep in mind what is being flushed or dumped down your drains. Things like hair, oils, grease, coffee grounds, pasta, or rice should not go in the sink. A drain stopper or filter can help, but remember that oils and grease can go through a stopper and should never be poured down a drain.

What is a drain line inspection?

A drain line inspection is performed with a waterproof camera that is inserted into your drain lines. It determines the cause of drain blockages, the condition of your drain pipes, and can also determine if there are any cracks, sags, or roots present.

Is this a simple clog or a main-line problem?

One slow sink or tub is usually local to that fixture. If several drains back up together, toilets gurgle, or sewage appears in a low fixture, the problem is more likely in the main line.

Do I need snaking, jetting, or a camera inspection?

It depends on how often the clog returns and what the line is carrying. We start with the symptoms, clear the line when appropriate, and recommend a camera inspection when the same backup keeps coming back.
